Hops & Hounds: A Tail-Waggin’ Good Time for a Great Cause!
On April 12th, 2025 tails were wagging and spirits were high at Two Shepherds Taproom, where we hosted our springtime celebration, Hops & Hounds — a playful, paws-itively fun event to raise money for two incredible local rescues: Maxx & Me Pet Rescue and Fluff Animal Rescue!
From 11 AM to 2 PM, the taproom was buzzing with energy (and happy pups!) as attendees joined us for an afternoon packed with raffles, DIY fun, adorable photo ops, and of course, lots of dog-friendly cheer. We were blown away by the turnout and are thrilled to announce that we raised over $1,000 for our rescue partners!
Egg Hunts, Raffle Wins, and Bunny Ears Galore
The Easter Bunny made a special appearance, hopping in for photo ops with guests (and their furry companions!). We held three rounds of Easter egg hunting, and each filled egg was redeemable for fun prizes that brought smiles to both the two-legged and four-legged attendees.
We also had over 20 incredible raffle baskets up for grabs — a huge thank you to everyone who entered and supported the cause. Whether you were trying your luck or just soaking in the festive vibes, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
Shop, Sparkle, and Create
Guests got creative with our DIY Easter Basket station, where for a $15 donation, they could build their own basket full of goodies. We were also joined by a talented live portrait artist and a dazzling permanent jewelry vendor, bringing even more local charm to the event.

A huge round of applause goes to Two Shepherds Taproom for generously hosting us and creating the perfect dog-friendly space for our celebration. Their $6 entry fee (with $2 from each entry going directly to the rescues) helped us make an even bigger impact.
And of course, thank you to everyone who came out, donated, volunteered, or helped spread the word. Events like this are only possible because of YOU — our amazing community.
